Fresh Strawberry Jam

2 kilos fresh strawberries
150 grams to a kilo of caster sugar

Preparing the jam:
Add the sugar to the strawberries and squeeze to a mush. Add to a pan and bring to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, lower heat to a medium-low heat. Skim off foam that forms on the top every 5 minutes for about 30 minutes.
