Chinese Five-Spice Ice Cream
Ingredients:
8 cups vanilla ice cream (use your favorite brand, or Haagen Daas 5)
1 1/2 teaspoons Chinese five spice powder
2 T cognac
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparing the ice cream:
Let ice cream soften. Combine all ingredients. Spoon into a container. Cover and freeze until firm.
Serves 6 to 8
